denmark’s university of aarhus found plants protect against mood disorders, depression, neurotic behavior, and stress-related issues. the study suggests plants help psychological restoration, by providing respite for over-stimulated minds. more importantly, the benefits of plants on mental health is correlational; the more plants we are exposed to the greater the mental health benefits
